this is some of the works i was able to salvage from my AAA game project when i was still in Brandoville studios. it was The last of us part 1 by Naughty dog. this was the first time i had to adhere to a specific and very strict pipeline when working on a project, and it taught me countless things about the game industry and game art in general. it was a very useful learning experience working on this project

it was using a tiling style uv map. it was my introduction to Trim UVs and how to texture a model with that techinique.

lots of small pockets in this model poses a lot of trouble i had to check and make notes of each and every artifacts, then try pushing edges closer, bake, then check if its fixed, if not then repeat. took 3 whole days to finish just baking this model

i only worked on the modeling and baking of this asset. it has so many parts in it, and so many little things that needs to be properly modeled for the texture artist convenience

i had to arrange the rectangle pieces of the chandelier from reference and make the overall model look not just worn, but crushed and aged, before the texture enhances all of those.
